Mushroom and Potato Hash

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day there is no doubt about that. With that being said, there is some uncertainty to what to choose for breakfast. From filling yet bland oatmeal to not so nutritious cinnamon buns there are thousands of options to choose from. For those of you who want a tasty savory breakfast then look no further than mushroom and potato hash.
Hash is traditional served in the South with a side of biscuits and gravy but actually has origins in France during World War II. The word hash actually comes from the french word "to chop". It consists of potatoes, meat, and spices that have been diced together. In my version I use mushrooms, green peppers, and vegan sausages to recreate this hearty meal that can be served on any occasion.
